This is an attempt to give our family and friends a glimpse of our baby Carter's llife. I hope this will help you better understand O.E.I.S complex (Cloacal Exstrophy). Carter is a true blessing and God has a special plan for him.
verse
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:14

Meagan, I am the mommy of Asher Phillips (also has OEIS Complex), and my name is Kassy. I am so glad you found us...my husband David and I have been truly blessed by reading a little through your blog. Its so comforting to know other brothers and sisters in Christ have gone before us on this crazy journey and that we could walk beside you on this path. We would LOVE to talk with you, my email is kassyw@comcast.net. Know that you guys are such an amazing example!!

Meagan, I just finished reading your blog. What a sweet family you have. Carter is absolutely precious and so blessed to have you and your husband as his parents! Amy Lee, from church, sent an email out regarding the t-shirts at Richland High School where I work in the office. I have a wonderful friend named Katie Almy who lives in Clinton with her husband who is in seminary and they have a similar story, just a different disease. But your circumstances reminded me so much of theirs and I thought you might like to read her blog and maybe even contact her. I can imagine that it is lonely going throught something like this when noone really knows how you feel. She does. So, if you are interested in reading about their precious baby, Karis, the website is www.karisalmy.com. I will be praying for Carter and your family. You are an inspiration and a blessing to me.
