Today has been a restful day for Carter. He has slept most of the day. When he has woken up, he has been extremely irritable. He just wants to be held and does not understand why he has to stay in the bed. Brandon and I have signed consents for all of the specialties involved in the surgery. Our Urologist said it best. The surgery Carter will have tomorrow is life saving and also life changing. They have already started Carter on a few more antibiotics and started the prep work for the surgery, which requires us to wake up every 2 hours tonight. His surgery will start between 5:30 to 7:30, but we are not sure at this point. It will last 10-12 hours and Carter will go to the PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) on a ventilator and sedated. I will update Carter's Facebook page as much as possible tomorrow.
We are patiently waiting on you Lord. Although, it hurts. We will be waiting. Waiting for you to answer yet another prayer. Please God hold our little Carter in your hands tomorrow. Allow him to feel no pain and send many Angels for him to play with. Allow his body to thirst no more. Please God heal his broken body. Most of all we pray for your will to be done. As always...To Him be the Glory!!!
Praying Continously.
