I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:14

(6/3/2013) Coming Home...

Tomorrow will be the day we have prayed for since March.  Carter had his appointment today with his Urologist.  It went extremely well.  It went so well that he feels comfortable sending us home!!! Yay! We are flying home tomorrow!!! This has been a long journey and we can not wait to be back south!!! I am a little nervous about going home this soon.  He is doing great right now, but I know things can change quickly.  The only reason we are able to be out of the hospital right now is that I am a nurse, and I have promised I will call with any problems Carter may have.  We will be returning to Johns Hopkins in a few weeks to have Carter's cast cut off, kidneys and bladder checked by ultrasound and to make sure the weaning of his medications is going as planned. Please continue to pray for us as we travel with Carter.  I can not wait for the next update to be written at home!!! Mississippi here we come!!! As always... To Him be the Glory!!!

Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! ... Psalm 150:1-6

  1. It sure is hot down here, but this is awesome news for your family! Home will do all of you good! We can't wait to have y'all back! Safe travels! Praise God!

  2. Praying for God's mercy as you travel. Carter will be so much happier being home in his own surroundings with his own family around. Praise God for his blessings! God is Good! But you know that. Your family has been cradled in his hands for months now and you have seen his grace first hand. Thank you so much for sharing this with us all. Prayers continue.
